seek rode up to the frost covered home of devin. he walked up to the door and rang the bell

Devin stopped writing where he was. Oddly, he was writing on a piece of partchment, with a sharpened quill. He loved the color and style of the ink, and the way that partchment looked so fine and official, so that's how he wrote. He whipped the ink off the quil, and put the Bluejay feather in a rack for holding quills. He was at his door a second later, opening the door slowly. Seek. Good. He opened the door all the way. "Hello Seek, what brings you around today?"

seek popped a ricola into his mouth before starting. talking was a great effort on his part "in the mail you gave me to deliver.... i found one addressed for you....."

At first Devin couldn't fathom what Seek was talking about, until eventually he caught on. Oh, of course. Mail. Duh. He took the mail handed to him, not opening it yet. He knew what it was, and his mail knife was at his desk anyhow. "Oh, thanks Seek."

seek bowed his head down, then proceeded down the walkway leading from devin's door. he ignored the fact that he just saw another spirit. no journeys to nowhere today.
